The Scottish Countryside Alliance Educational Trust (SCAET) is offering a full bursary for one delegate attending the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) Limited Grouse & Hillkeeper’s Course on April 21-25 at the Invermark estate.

Held on a bi-annual basis, the five-day course is regarded as one of the best practical and participative upland management courses in the UK.

The course, aimed at aspiring gamekeepers, includes an opportunity to meet management experts, take part in discussions and to watch demonstrations covering everything from heather burning and grouse habitats to tick control and deer law.

To apply for the bursary contact nicola@scaet.org.uk or write to Nicola Chalmers-Watson, Scottish Countryside Alliance Educational Trust, West Mains Cottage, Royal Highland Showground, Ingliston, Edinburgh EH28 8NF stating why you think you should receive support.

The closing date for applications is March 14.

The full tuition fee for the five days is £460 including VAT - this does not include the accommodation costs. Full accommodation is available on the estate. For more information, contact 01425 651013 or email: lferguson@gct.org.uk
