Beretta promotes flagship store with London taxi cab

Beretta promotes flagship store with London taxi cab

The artwork on the taxi originally featured a £20,000 Beretta shotgun, but had to be redesigned.

Fully decorated with Beretta logos, both inside and out, the taxi aims to promote Beretta's flagship store, The Beretta Gallery, 36 St James's Street, London.

The project has, predictably enough, faced problems stemming from its subject matter.

Originally the designs featured a hand engraved Beretta shotgun, however the Public Carriage Office (PCO) did not approve of: "images with guns for display on/in London licensed taxi cabs."

The artwork was declined for a second time after an appeal, along with the use of shotgun advertising on the inside of the vehicle.

Now featuring a new design consisting solely of Beretta branding and Beretta Gallery advertising, this eye-catching taxi will be in circulation around London for the next year.
